Esther Pets Rescue
Our website was created by Ricardo Barbosa, a volunteer who joined our cause to ensure that our story, our transparency, and the urgency of our mission reach people like you, who can make a difference.
Founded in 2012 by Esther, what began with a small piece of land and a few rescued animals has grown to become the only safe haven for more than 100 lives with nowhere else to go. Here, every bowl of food, every treatment, and every moment of care represents a daily struggle to keep these animals alive.
Today, we provide daily care, nutritious meals, and life-saving veterinary treatment to dogs and cats who arrive hungry, sick, or injured, each one given the chance to heal and eventually find a forever home. But the truth is that sustaining all of this is a significant challenge. Food runs out quickly, vet bills pile up, and every week new rescued animals arrive in urgent need of help.
We receive no government assistance or fixed sponsorships. All of our work depends entirely on the generosity of people around the world who believe, as we do, that no innocent life should be discarded.
Now, more than ever, we need help. Your donation could be what prevents an animal from going to sleep hungry or suffering without treatment. It is what keeps our doors open and allows us to continue saving lives, one tail and one purr at a time.
